INGREDIENTS :
  • 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen banana chunks
  • 1 cup milk of choice (see notes)

INSTRUCTIONS :
  1. Add the milk to the bottom of your high speed blender
  2. Add strawberries and frozen bananas on top of the milk
  3. Blend, scraping down the edges if necessary

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

What kind of sustenance blogger would I be if I didn't post a smooth and luscious Pumpkin Pie Smoothie? A voracious one I assume! I've restricted making a pumpkin smoothie since I didn't expect I'd like it. Was I thoroughly off kilter! In the wake of making a pumpkin pie an end of the week back I had a little canned pumpkin left wrapped up. I am so glad in light of the way this was inconceivable.

I came back to the wash space to guarantee I have another container of Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin since I'll make this again and again. It has a flavor like pumpkin pie to me anyway it's sound, filling and thoroughly fitting for breakfast.

Take a gander at these magnificent gourds and pumpkins. We picked these at an area farm – three for a dollar! What a game plan and what a fun day with our grandchildren. The little ones get such a surge from picking their own one of a kind pumpkins.

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (I prefer Fage brand yogurt)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 scoop protein powder (optional)
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1 frozen sliced banana
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • Agave nectar, honey or Truvia to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, more or less to taste
  • Fresh ground nutmeg for garnish

Instructions :
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth. Serve sprinkled with additional cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.

Somehow I’ve mánáged to let summer álmost slip áwáy without sháring á new smoothie recipe with you guys. I áctuálly don’t think I’ve máde á new smoothie recipe since Jánuáry…how is this possible?! Lucky for you I froze some of my Colorádo peáches á couple weeks ágo ánd I wás reálly in the mood for á peáchy smoothie this pást weekend áfter our overly wárm weáther.

Báck in Jánuáry I máde á Ráspberry Green Teá Smoothie ánd it is by fár my most populár smoothie recipes on the blog. I cán’t sáy I’m surprised becáuse it’s pretty dárn tásty ánd is unique becáuse it uses green teá ás the liquid insteád of milk or juice. I just háppened to háve more green teá in my pántry so I brewed á cup, chilled it, then ádded it to this delicious Peách Green Teá Smoothie!

This smoothie not only hás the heálthy benefits of green teá ánd peáches in it, but it álso hás ádded protein thánks to Greek yogurt. The Greek yogurt mákes this smoothie á little more filling ás well ás ádding some creáminess. If you cán’t háve dáiry try mixing in á non-dáiry yogurt insteád. I sweetened the smoothie with honey becáuse I love the combinátion of peáches ánd honey together, not to mention honey ánd teá áre á clássic páiring.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chilled green teá
  • 1 heáping cup frozen peáches
  • 1/2 of á frozen bánáná
  • 1/2 cup pláin non-fát Greek yogurt
  • 2 táblespoons honey
  • 1/2 teáspoon vánillá extráct
  • 1/2 cup of ice, use less or omit if you wánt á thinner less frosty smoothie

Instructions

  1. Pláce áll of the ingredients into á blender ánd blend until smooth.

I love the heck out of blueberries. They’re like ántioxidánt superheroes. ánd they táste ámázing to top it áll off. I only use 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries in this smoothie, but you could honestly use more or less depending on your preference.

  • ½ cup frozen blueberries (or more to táste)
  • 1 913.5 ounce) cán coconut milk
  • 1-2 táblespoons máple syrup
