These Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies are a family favorite recipe and always the first cookies to go on the cookie tray.
Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup crisco
- 1 cup sugar plus 1/2 sup sugar for rolling
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips melted
- 2 cups flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 15 marshmallows cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Cut all the marshmallows in half with a clean pair of kitchen scissors, and place them in the freezer while preparing the cookie dough.
