CHOCOLATE SALTED CARAMEL PRETZEL COOKIES

I made these this evening. Great recipe. Very tasty EXCEPT the caramels in the center. I used the Kraft caramels and cut them in half per the recipe. It’s not so bad when the cookies are piping hot, but after they’ve cooled the caramels return to hard and super chewy. I’m not a fan. I will definitely make these again but I will omit the carmels.

Chocolate cookies with a gooey caramel center, pretzel pieces, and a sprinkling of sea salt. These cookies are sweet and salty perfection! Have a glass of milk close by:)
