Portage Engine Co said Friday it is reviewing 874,000 pickup trucks in North America with motor square warmers for flame dangers.
The second biggest U.S. automaker said the review covers some 2015-2019 Portage F-150 trucks, alongside the 2017-2019 Passage F-250 Super Obligation, F-350 Super Obligation, F-450 Super Obligation, and F-550 Super Obligation pickup trucks.
Portage said water and contaminants may get into the square radiator link's graft connector, causing consumption and harm and conceivably a fire. Portage told U.S. controllers it knows about reports of three flames in Canada connected to the issue, yet uninformed of any reports of mishaps or wounds.
The review covers 410,000 vehicles in the Unified States and around 464,000 in Canada. Portage merchants will investigate and seal the square radiator link, or supplant it if fundamental. The review will start ahead of schedule one month from now.
