These are so gorgeous – they seem so much more decadent than regular Oreos, but definitely equally delicious! I made this recipe for my husband to take to work. It turned out fabulous!
Valentines Day Oreos
Ingredients
- 1 Box red velvet cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup shortening
- Cream Filling
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp hot water
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In large bowl mix red velvet cake mix with eggs and shortening until well combined.
