Crock pot mississippi chicken

After I distributed recipes for CROCK POT MISSISSIPPI POT ROAST earlier last year, I got a lot of people asking about making it with chicken. This recipe is perfect for all types of meat you can think of. What I like best is that it is a crock pot recipe. And I mean you can really fix it and forget it. Put everything in your slow cooker and turn it down and go to work then go home and get ready. It will not be burned or dried at all.

WHAT TYPES OF CHICKEN SHOULD I USE?

Chicken thighs can also be a very affordable choice. And by using chicken thighs he also cuts the butter in half. I like to use frozen chicken breast with recipes all day long. Again, this is more affordable than fresh chicken breast and last longer cooking time. Plus, it seems like I always keep it in the freezer. They cook very well without melting at all. WHAT IS MISSISSIPPI LOW KARB AND KETO FRIENDLY?

This! As long as you don't serve it with bread. You can eat it yourself or maybe with keto-friendly bread. Now, the favorite way to serve this is with a bun. We apply mayonnaise on top and add provolone cheese and leave it nice and soft. Mmmmm But you really can do more with it. You can serve it with a few MILLION DOLLARS or egg noodles. You can't be wrong.

 Ingredients
  • 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 gravy mix juice au package
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick)
  • 6 peperoncini peppers

 Instructions

Add chicken breasts to the bottom of the slow cooker.

Sprinkle both packets of au gravy mix and ranch dressing mix on top of the chicken.

Then, top with stick of butter and peperoncini peppers.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

The chicken will produce its own juices so you don't have to add any other liquid to this.

When it's ready, take a couple of forks and shred the chicken.

It will be very tender.

Notes
Any chicken will work for this recipe. We like to serve this up sub rolls but you can serve this however you prefer.
